About

I work exclusively with children aged 3 to 11, and adolescent girls between 12 and 16 years old. For children under the age of three, I offer parent support, including consulting and psychoeducation.

My practice is evidence based and trauma informed. I specialise in child-centred play therapy (CCPT) and person-centred therapy (PCT). While my work with teenagers may draw from solution-focused, cognitive behavioural and sand tray therapeutic modalities, my overall approach is rooted in person-centred theory.

In session, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing space where clients can comfortably explore issues, identify unhelpful patterns, learn new skills, and grow into their best selves. Significantly, research shows that the client-clinician relationship is the most important predictor of positive treatment outcomes, regardless of the approach.

As well as individual supervision and professional development, I attend regular group supervision with colleagues at the Family Psychology Practice. I am also a member of the CCPT Collective, an international community of play therapists with the goal of advancing the child-centred model.

My vision: A child-centred society that truly respects kids’ rights.
