About

As a mental health practitioner, I am particularly interested in early intervention and well-being support. I work exclusively with children aged 3 to 11, and adolescent girls between 12 and 17 years old.

I specialise in child-centred play therapy (CCPT) and person-centred therapy (PCT). In my work with teenage girls, I sometimes draw from solution-focused, cognitive behavioural and sand tray therapeutic modalities. But my overall approach is rooted in person-centred theory.

Significantly, research shows that the client-clinician relationship is the most important predictor of positive treatment outcomes, regardless of the approach.

My practice is evidence based and trauma informed. In session, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing space where clients can heal through relationship, explore new insights, develop resilience and grow into their best selves.

In addition to engaging in individual CCPT supervision, I am a member of the CCPT Collective, an international community of play therapists with the collective goal of preserving and advancing the child-centered model. I also attend regular group supervision at my workplace.
